Shipping and lead times
Lead time
Lead time is stated on every product page, next to the price. There are two lanes and they are not marketing estimates:
- Stock items: ships in 1 to 3 business days. Most of the catalog. Held in stock and dispatched from New Jersey.
- Made to order. Items personalised with your company name, device numbers, or building specific text are produced after you order. Blanks are held in stock and personalised here, and we confirm the dispatch date when we confirm your artwork.
Lead time is production and dispatch time. Transit time is additional.
Carrier and cost
We ship USPS Ground Advantage nationwide. Shipping is charged by parcel weight and destination, shown at checkout before you pay. Rates are set from published USPS pricing for our New Jersey origin, so a New York City order is not charged as though it crossed the country.
Shipping is free on orders over $250.
Order minimums
There is no minimum order value. If you need two plates, buy two plates. Individual products carry a minimum quantity where the item is only produced in that form, for example ADA floor designations are sold in pairs because the standard requires them on both jambs. Any minimum is shown on the product page and enforced in the cart.
Where we ship
United States, all fifty states and DC. We do not currently ship internationally. Most orders originate close to the New York metropolitan area, which keeps cost and transit time down for our core market.
Tracking and problems
Tracking is emailed when your parcel is dispatched. If tracking stops updating or a parcel does not arrive, contact info@megapolissigns.com or call 332-318-6600 and we will chase the carrier and, where needed, reship.
Large quantity orders
Orders above the published quantity ladder are quoted per run, including freight, because at that weight parcel pricing stops being the sensible way to ship. Use the quote link on any product page.
