Returns and refunds

We want the right sign on the wall. If something arrives wrong, damaged, or not as described, tell us and we will make it right.

Standard stock items

Unused, uninstalled stock signs and plates can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the product price. Items must be in resalable condition with the adhesive backing intact and unpeeled. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the return is our error.

Personalised and made to order items

Signs printed with your company name, car or device numbers, building specific text, or custom braille are produced for you and cannot be resold. These are not returnable unless they arrive defective or do not match the artwork you approved. This applies to the code data plate with company name, the maintenance category tag, the wire rope and car speed tag, the service hotline decal, and any custom text braille designation.

If we got it wrong

Wrong item, printing defect, or transit damage: contact us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. We will send a replacement or refund in full, including shipping, and we will cover the return label. You will not be asked to pay twice while we sort it out.

Wrong sign for your situation

Code requirements vary by building, jurisdiction, and inspector. If you ordered a sign that turns out not to satisfy your inspector, contact us. Standard stock items fall under the 30 day return above. For personalised items we will work with you on the correct replacement, but we cannot refund production already completed to your specification.

How to start a return

Email info@megapolissigns.com or call 332-318-6600 with your order number and what went wrong. Do not ship anything back before contacting us: we will confirm the return address, which is not always the address on the parcel.

Refund timing

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method once the return is received and inspected. Your bank or card issuer sets how quickly it appears, typically within 5 to 10 business days.
